Annette Z. C. Foreman

About
Annette Z. C. Foreman is an Asian American Animator, Voice Actor, and Author from Lincoln, Nebraska studying at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. The majority of her work displays visual rhythm and thematic symbols that build towards a cohesive story, usually focusing on internal struggles, connections with others, and the fight to remain kind despite life’s hardships. The acting choices she makes through both animation, voice, and the writing are driven by each character’s particular worldview. She has previously been involved as both an animator and voice talent on several student films and is currently directing her own animated short film, One for Sorrow, Two for Joy, wherein an inn keeper and an old friend must confront both physical and emotional evils in the form of a monstrous lake of tar. Between her animation and voice work, she is also working on a standalone novel, Élan, set in a magical school, but centering the drama on the complicated friendships between the students. Annette is looking forward to collaborating on future projects relating to her fields of study and gleaning experience from both the work itself and fellow artists.
